I have a long history with the United Kingdom - most recently in culinary schools in Devon and Ireland, learning about organic sustainability and culinary finesse. After graduating, to continue my chef training I secured work experience at prestigious established restaurants in London.

Upon returning to Japan, I developed a style of British traditional baking with a modern confectionery twist, and from thereon, participated in pop-up events and weekend farmers markets in Tokyo.

In the autumn of 2017, the "Whimsy" bakery concept was born in a private renovated house in Shibakoen, Minato-ku.
